Brandy's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Brandy's Story...
Brandy is a very gentle, lovable, cuddly, sweet and fun, two-year-old, 12-pound female tan and white Chihuahua-mix looking for a loving guardian.

Poor Brandy was found when she and another dog were barking in a storage locker. The other dog has already found a home, now it’s Brandy’s turn!

Brandy has the softest fur so she’s fun to snuggle with and pet. She knows how to sit on command and she takes treats very gently from your fingers. She is observant and curious. Brandy is good with other dogs.

Her adoption fee of $250 benefits the rescued dogs of Famous Fido. She is up-to-date on vaccinations and will be spayed and micro-chipped upon adoption. She is so good natured she even lets you trim her nails without a fuss.

To meet and possibly adopt Brandy, please fill out the adoption application at and follow up by contacting Gloria at or 773-907-0305. Brandy is currently at the Famous Fido Rescue facility at 3124 W. Irving Park Road (at Troy Street) in Chicago.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Brandy, a Chicago Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
