Roxy's Story...
Sweet little Roxy is back at Homes Fur Hounds and up for adoption. The couple who adopted her are devastated, since Roxy is such a great dog, but Roxy's new mom had a terrible allergic reaction to Roxy and they had no choice but to return her. Roxy is a young terrier mix who weighs about 6 pounds. She is spayed, up to date on shots and micro-chipped. She loves people and seems to like smaller dogs. We don't know how she does with bigger dogs. Roxy is still working a little on her housebreaking and does have a few puppy like behaviors such as chewing on hands, but she responds well to commands. If interested in Roxy contact Homes Fur Hounds at isgdeanna@aol.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Roxy, a Williamsburg Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Williamsburg, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Williamsburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Williamsburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Williamsburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Williamsburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
