Felix (Neutered)'s Story...
"Felix" is a cute 5-month old male kitten who was surrendered by his owner on December 1, 2016 along with many of his best friends who shared his previous home. This adorable little boy has a black-and-white short smooth coat, a long tail, and a darling chubby-looking face which is symmetrically marked. He has a tiny pink nose and long white whiskers. "Felix" is a happy, fun-loving kitten who dearly loves attention, and he pushes his cute little paws through the bars of his cage door whenever visits are in our Jungle Room and gives them the 'come hither look' :) "Felix) was given vaccinations and wormer on December 1, 2016. He weighed 5.2 lbs. at that time. These updated photos of "Felix" were taken on January 4, 2017. "Felix" was neutered on January 11, 2017 and was also given rabies vaccine.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Felix (Neutered), a Marietta Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
