Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hey everyone, Boomer here. I know Homes Fur Hounds has had a lot of little puppies for adoption lately, but come on people, do you really want a puppy?
Puppies poop and pee everywhere, they chew on everything, and they cry and whine when you leave them. You also have to watch them 24/7 to make sure they stay out of trouble.
Now think about the benefits of a 4 year old dog like myself. I am a really good house dog. I never have an accident and I love to be with you wherever you go. I don't mind being in a crate when you are gone and you don't have to watch me 24/7 (just don't leave any food on the counter since that is too tempting).
Of course I'm not perfect. I do have a couple of flaws but I would hope in the right setting I would do great. I do get car sick, so I would prefer not to travel a lot. Dramamine will resolve the problem and I don't mind taking it.
I also go a little crazy if I am on a leash and come up on another dog. I'm fine with other dogs in the house, just not strange dogs on the road. So if you have a fenced yard and an area to walk me where I don't see lots of other dogs, I'm the perfect fit.
I really like my foster home but I want a home where I know I can stay forever. I would be a great companion for someone retired and looking for company.
