Ralphie's Story...
Hi everyone my name is Ralphie and I was recently rescued from the local shelter. I am a gorgeous and very calm lionhead bun. I was recently neutered and have a clean bill of health. I weigh about 3 lbs and I am full grown. They have estimated my age to about 2 years old. Like I said I am a very calm and gentle bun who likes to just hang out and lounge around. I may be a good candidate for any spayed female buns searching for a bonding mate. I do have one drawback though....I have poor litterbox habits that my foster mom is trying to help me with. I dont see what the big deal is but apparently people like when a bun is a bit tidier than I see to be. Dont worry I will get there I just like to do things slowly and in my own time frame. I enjoy my fresh greens everday and also love my timothy hay. I drink great out of a water bowl instead of a bottle as I get more water that way.

Would you consider adopting a cute little guy like me?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ralphie, a Hillside Lionhead was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Lionhead for sale in Hillside, or seeking a Lionhead from a breeder in Hillside.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hillside already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hillside breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Lionhead breeders who help with Lionhead rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hillside paves the way for another one to be saved.
