Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Venus came to POA terrified and covered in bites and scratches. We were told she might be feral. Fast forward five weeks and a lot of petting, and Venus is a different cat. Her skin is healed, her coat is sleek, and her light green eyes are bright and curious. And we can confidently report that this is not a feral cat! Venus likes petting, treats and toys- and pretty much in that order. She is learning how to snuggle up next to people and when she knows and trusts you she will walk across the floor to give you a little fist bump with her head. Venus is currently working on being brave enough to climb into a lap for extra petting. Venus is still learning to trust people though, and would do best in a quiet home with someone who will keep working with her and with a cat companion who can show her the ropes. Venus LOVES other calm cats and is more confident when they are around. Venus has come a long way in a short time at POA, and now she is ready to go home. Is your home missing a timid, sweet cat like Venus?
