Get ready to play! Sweet little Gemma is ready for a good time! She loves chasing and playing with other dogs! Gemma is a young adult Walker hound who came to us from a high kill shelter in SW Virginia where too many hunting dogs do unclaimed. Gemma would be the perfect addition to a family who is looking for a playmate for a current dog or for a jogging partner. She is quickly learning all about house manners and is ready to find her forever home!

The adoption fee for all adult hounds is only $75 in the month of March!

175.00 adoption donation ($200 for puppies under 6 months old) helps us take care of all the dogs we rescue. All dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm and tick borne diseases (if old enough) , microchipped and vaccinated for rabies (if old enough), distemper/parvo and bordetella. They are also treated for internal and external parasites if needed. Many dogs also receive extensive medical care such as surgeries and dentals.
