Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Cyndee is an approximately 7 year old beagle/sheltie mix. She is just up from a southern Indiana high kill shelter. She was kept in a basement along with another dog who did not make it. She had not been fed for over two weeks when rescued, thus she is very thin and not too healthy. She suffered from severe ear infections and paw infections and could hardly walk. Also some time ago she suffered a break in one of her legs which was never treated; she walks with a limp. Even though she has suffered so much she is a sweetheart and very quiet. She seems to be house trained which is hard to believe considering her past. She is having medical treatment and is recovering nicely. She has had a dental. She sleeps through the night and gets along well with the other two dogs in the house and the cat. She is a very loving and sweet girl. She does not walk too well so will not need long walks. She will need someone with compassion and love to care for her. She is able to amble around the yard and does not leave my side. She loves car rides. She is perking up more each day. Cyndee is up to date on shots, rabies and is heartworm negative. Her adoption fee is $200. If you are interested in meeting Cyndee please call Carol at 630-362-9793 or 630-554-3749. Microchipping is included.
