Patches (Spayed)'s Story...
"Patches" is a cute 4-month old female Calico kitty who arrived at the HSOV on March 4, 2017 after a Good Samaritan found this little sweetheart in a ditch beside a country road. What might have ended up as a tragedy for this tiny kitten turned out to be her lucky day when that compassionate person picked her up and brought her to our shelter. Soon after her debut at the HSOV, someone fell in love with her and completed an adoption application for her!

This little sweetheart has a brown/orange/white short smooth coat in a calico pattern, a long tail, and an adorable face with large golden eyes, a pink nose, and superb 'ear furnishings'.

"Patches" has a delightful personality and begins to purr the moment you made eye contact with her. She is a real playgirl who loves attention. "Patches' loves to jump from her cage and perch on your shoulder, and she gives great kitten kisses.

"Patches" was given vaccinations and wormer on March 4, 2017. She is a petite little lady who weighs 3.2 lbs. "Patches" was spayed on March 15, 2017 and was also given rabies vaccine.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Patches (Spayed), a Marietta Calico kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Calico for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Calico kitten from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Calico breeders who help with Calico rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
