Jumper's Story...
Hi everyone my name is Jumper and I was recently rescued from a local shelter. I got my name because I love to jump and have a boundless amount of energy. My housing has multiple levels and I run and jump up and down and up and down. I am only about 6 months old so that is why I have so much energy. I weigh about 2 lbs and am full grown. I am a bit nervous when people first meet me but with just a bit of patience I like to come to you and give you nose bonks. I am not a fan of being held but would rather have my feet on the floor and run and jump all over you especially if you are down on my level. I really enjoy my timothy hay and timothy pellets. I drink from a water bowl not a bottle as my foster mom says I get the right amount of water that way. I have a bit of a sweet tooth and will never turn down a carrot or animal cracker (I dont get as many as I want even when I bat my eyes because mom says its not good for me). I would probably do better in a home with no small children but otherwise I think I am a great fit for a great home.

Would you consider adopting a cute little guy like me?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jumper, a Hillside Other/Unknown was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Other/Unknown for sale in Hillside, or seeking a Other/Unknown from a breeder in Hillside.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hillside already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hillside breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Other/Unknown breeders who help with Other/Unknown rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hillside paves the way for another one to be saved.
