Once she loves someone, she becomes extremely protective. So, she needs a family that will keep her safe from her own impulses. She is reactive and nervous if a stranger grabs her collar. So, she needs a dog-lover who will protect her from people she’s not familiar with.
Callie is housebroken, crate-trained and non-destructive in the home. She has a few dog friends, but she’d probably be happiest as the only pet in the home.
Callie is very healthy, spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, micro-chipped and heartworm-tested negative.
She is currently at the Pei Land Rescue in Plano, Illinois. Her adoption fee of $300 benefits rescues pets.
To meet and possibly adopt Callie, please contact Jen at firstname.lastname@example.org or 630-553-7829.
