Clayton's Story...
Clayton: 7 year old fox terrier/lab/sharpei; 20 lbs Neutered. Up to date on vaccinations and microchipped. Adoption fee $150.00

Sweet and gentle as can be but has been seriously abused in his past so needs a calm & loving home; must have another dog ... he literally freezes without a canine companion. Great with other dogs, cats. He's extremely sensitive and passive; he can be shy meeting new people so kids under 12 years of age would probably overwhelm and traumatize him. He's potty trained and such an easy boy to have around.

Due to the high volume of emails received, we recommend you visit our website and fill out an adoption application. This does not obligate you to adopt, it just helps us determine if a certain dog is a good fit for your household. Adoption applications can be found at www.waldosmuttleycrew.org. Thank you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Clayton, a Indianapolis Labrador Retriever/Fox Terrier (Smooth) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Fox Terrier (Smooth) for sale in Indianapolis, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Fox Terrier (Smooth) dog from a breeder in Indianapolis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Indianapolis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Indianapolis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Fox Terrier (Smooth) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Fox Terrier (Smooth) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Indianapolis paves the way for another one to be saved.
