My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

"Piper" is an adorable 8-month old female Shepherd mix who arrived at the HSOV on the evening of April 13, 2017 after she was picked up in Belpre Ohio by he Washington County Dog Warden. "Piper" was wearing a collar when she entered our shelter but, unfortunately, there was neither an id tag nor a dog tag to enable us to locate her owner. (And she was not microchipped).

This little dollbaby has a black-and-brown short smooth coat with a large white blaze on her chest, a long tail, and a beautiful face with a brown mask and large floppy ears. "Piper" has a sweet, affectionate personality and appears to love everyone She is a playful young lady who adores attention, and she wanted so badly to make the acquaintance of other dogs that she saw being walked in the distance.

"Piper" is still perfecting her walking-on-a-leash skills but did very well on her 'maiden voyage' for her outdoor glamour photos :) She currently weighs 35.8 lbs.

In compliance with the Ohio Revised Code, "Piper" will be held for three days so that her owner can come to reclaim her. She will be available for adoption on April 17, 2017 if she is not reclaimed before that date.
