My story

Hello there! My name is Emerald, but my foster mom calls me Emmy. I was rescued from outside and am looking for a very special family to call my own. I am still quite shy and do not like to be picked up, but if you sit down to play with me, I'm all in! Feather toys are my favorite. I am young and full of playful energy. I like to be silly and make my foster mom laugh all the time. She says that I will do best being adopted by a family that has lots of patience and is willing to give me time to acclimate and get to know them for me to feel safe and loved. I would do best in a home that doesn't have young children.
