Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi my name is Rhaps (as in Rhapsody). I am what people call a “mature boy” (approximately 16 years old). I recently lost my human mom to diabetes. I had lived with her since I was very young. I was very sad for a while, but I am coming out of my shell. I appreciate human company and reward it with sweet purring if petted. If you scratch me behind the ears and on the neck, I will think you are really special. I am currently walking laps down the hall and around the couch (to the tune of Rocky) every day to get in shape for my new forever home. (Watch out Rocky Balboa!) I am also on a low carb diet. (Swimming suit season will be here before you know it!)
Per his owner’s son, Rhaps was his mom’s service cat. He used to wake her up if he noticed her insulin pump had stopped. Rhaps shared coffee time with his mom every morning. He used to sit next to her and have a bit of milk while she drank her coffee.
Rhaps is a gentle boy that would be better suited to a house with no other cats. He is not aggressive. But, he is not sure about other feline company. Rhaps has been declawed on his front paws. He would make an ideal companion for someone looking to share their home with a loving furry friend.
