My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

PLEASE MEET RUPERT - A DASHINGLY HANDSOME LOVER BOY!

This delightful boy was found sunbathing on the sidewalk on a cold day. A passerby said he was a "neighborhood cat" but he was dirty and skinny, striving for food and desperate for attention. With his adorable face and attitude it didn't take him long to convince his rescuer to go into action and take him off the street.
In his foster home Rupert made himself comfortable in no time, exploring, napping and enjoying human company to the fullest. His foster Mom says he's such a docile companion who likes to nap next to her and to put his paw in her hand when he goes to sleep. HOW CUTE IS THAT!!!. His other favorite activities include sitting in the window and playing with catnip toys. But most of the time his amazingly beautiful golden eyes will always beg for attention and he will show off his most affectionate side an adopter can only wish for. Clearly he has lots of love to give and is so ready for his furever home that showers him with love and affection in return!

This abandoned kitty is precious and will be the perfect furry companion: playful, gentle, super affectionate and a purring machine. He will follow you around and will make sure you know he is "YOUR" furever personal assistant!

Rupert is a handsome and gentle and beautiful tuxedo boy and lap cat, about a year young, neutered, deflead, fully vetted with vaccination and tested negative for FIV. His FELV status is in the moment pending, as formerly SNAP tested positive, but his last IFA test stated negative. Please note that FELV positive cats can live a long healthy life when kept indoors and fed high quality food. Rupert got a clean bill of health from the vet and does not show any symptoms, so he may be only a silent carrier, like most of the cats that are exposed to the virus which do not become viremic, recover and develop immunity. These cats are referred to as having a regressive infection with the virus. They rarely shed the virus and usually do not succumb to FeLV related illnesses, but need to be the only cat in their furever home or can live with a residential cat that tested FELV positive as well.

So please do not turn your back on him and come and meet this affectionate boy - A SWEET PURRING HONEY BEAR in a tuxedo suit - you have to come and meet him to believe it !
