Shyla's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, a special needs pet, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Shyla's Story...

Shyla is a beautiful, gentle, 7-year-old beagle/spaniel mix. She was surrendered after developing diabetes, which is easily treatable with insulin injections twice daily. (She doesn't mind it one bit!) Her diabetes has also caused her to go blind, but she learns new environments very quickly and still loves to explore her world!  She is such a lovely girl. She will make a great addition to a lucky family who sees that she's worth a little extra effort.

Shyla weighs 30 lb, but probably should weigh 35 lb - she's still a bit underweight.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Shyla, a Indianapolis Spaniel (Unknown Type)/Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Spaniel (Unknown Type)/Beagle for sale in Indianapolis, or seeking a Spaniel (Unknown Type)/Beagle dog from a breeder in Indianapolis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Indianapolis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Indianapolis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Spaniel (Unknown Type)/Beagle breeders who help with Spaniel (Unknown Type)/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Indianapolis paves the way for another one to be saved.
