Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Miss Muppet came to us with a secret... she was hiding babies in her belly! About a week after arriving in her foster home, Miss Muppet quietly gave birth to 9 adorable (but tiny!) puppies. She has been an excellent mom, taking care of all nine babies and getting them big and healthy and strong.
Now that the puppies are 6 weeks old, Miss Muppet is ready to retire from the baby making business and move on to her new position as family pet! Her resume includes a number of highly sought after qualifications! She is fully house and crate trained (although she prefers to be out of her crate!). She is not destructive, is loving and sweet with her humans, walks great on a leash a is good in the car. Miss Muppet gets along well with dogs her size and smaller. She hasn't been around any bigger dogs in her foster home but foster mom thinks she will do just fine. Miss Muppet is a great age (the vet estimates she is about 5 years old) and perfect size (about 20 pounds). She is super smart and just a fun little girl to be around!
Miss Muppet still needs a few weeks to recover from nursing 9 babies, and have her spay surgery. We think she will be ready to move on to her new home around the middle of June.
She is ready now to meet her new family and can be preadopted.
Miss Muppet is heartworm negative, will be spayed before going home and is up to date on vaccinations. She has a microchip that will be transferred to the adopter upon completion of the adoption process.
The adoption fee for Miss Muppet is $ 200.00.
