Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Zorro is a fun and friendly nine-month-old, 52-pound, male Shar Pei/Husky-mix puppy looking for a loving guardian.
Zorro is well-behaved in the home, housebroken, crate-trained and wonderful with people of all ages. He likes to hang out on the couch during the day, but sleeps quietly in his crate all night.
He loves to hang out on a cushy dog bed or couch and self-entertain with a deer antler. And, he loves to play fetch!
You can take anything out of his mouth and he lets you. No food aggression at all. Balls, bones, toys … he even let me take things out of his mouth during our photo shoot.
Zorro has been working with a trainer and he is learning all his commands: sit, down, stand and come. But he can be stubborn and is looking for someone who will use positive reinforcement training to teach him even more. He will do anything and everything for a treat.
Zorro gets along with laid back male or female dogs. He doesn’t like aggressive dogs. is when he is outside the home. He can be reactive to other dogs while on leash. So, he is looking for someone who have a house with a fenced in yard in a less congested neighborhood where Zorro won’t be so stressed during his outdoor time. He is looking for someone to continue his training and give him much-needed daily exercise.
Zorro is extremely healthy, neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, heartworm-tested, and micro-chipped. His adoption fee of $300 benefits the rescued pets of Pei-Land Rescue in Plano, Illinois.
