Check out Herbie! This sweet guy is doing great in foster care but would love a home of his very own. He has been waiting for his people for a very long time: Herbie has been in our rescue for over 2 years.
Herbie is an 10 year old male neutered Chihuahua /Dachshund mix. He is a very sweet fellow that just wants a lap to sit on! He has trust issues and is shy when he meets people but is a real doll when he decides you are a good person. Herbie prefers his humans as well as canine companions to be female. He should not be in a home with children. Herbie is a very special dog that is looking for a very special person. He is great with other dogs (especially females) as well as cats.

If this pet is posted, it is still available. There is no need to send a message asking if it is still available. We require an application, home check, positive vet reference, and that all past and present animals in the home are fixed, vaccinated, and current on heartworm prevention. Current and past pets must be indoor only and may not have access to the yard unaccompanied. Because our animals live in private foster homes as opposed to a shelter, we require an approved application before setting up a meet and greet. Adoption fee is based on the age of the dog being adopted. Adopters aged 65+ are encouraged to adopt dogs aged 8 and older.
