Odie von Odderade is a delightful 12 month old coated German Shepherd. This handsome boy with the dark mask and unbelievably fluffy coat is as sweet as his sideways smile. Odie has a perpetually happy demeanor and is very social. He eats up attention from people and enjoys just being in your company as well as cuddling. Odie recently went on one of our beach hikes and got an an A+ report back. His handler proclaimed him a great hiking buddy. Odie has an average Shepherd energy, which is plenty for an active home that will take him along to any number of adventures. Around other dogs, on leash Odie meets dog with no issues and really enjoys being off leash with friendly tolerant dogs. Like many Shepherds, he can be a bit exuberant when playing around, so he’s best paired with another fun-loving dog like himself and no mellow or bossy types. Being so young, Odie has a bit to catch up in the training front. However he takes corrections well and on his hike he proved to be quite intuitive, he learned a bit and seemed to get what was expected of him right away. Odie would make a great addition to a Shepherd loving home where he can learn and have fun, often at the same time.
