My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Daisy Mae is one of the absolute sweetest dogs around and has the cutest underbite and snaggle tooth in the entire world. Daisy and her daughter were brought in as strays covered in fleas, ticks, and dirt, and although it took Daisy a beat to settle in, she now absolutely loves being a house dog! She is obsessed with all humans and only wants their companionship and love. Daisy is extremely obedient, well behaved, and submissive to her humans. She is the snuggliest little thing and absolutely loves to cuddle, but she understands when you're busy and makes herself comfortable elsewhere. Daisy is around 35-40 lbs and is fairly low energy. She does not need to be crated while left alone as she is house trained and just spends her time sleeping. She loves to go for car rides (especially to Dairy Queen or Starbucks where she can get her very own sweet treat) and really enjoys going for walks. She does great on a leash and could easily be trained to be off leash in safe areas. Daisy absolutely adores children and even seeks them out when walking in the park! Everyone is a friend to Daisy and her calm and affectionate demeanor makes her very popular with everyone she meets. Daisy lives with four cats and after a short adjustment period she is doing great with them. She needs to be supervised when food is around as she can occasionally be a little growly towards them, but generally does great. She loves to bathe them with kisses and she doesn't mind when they rub against her or headbutt her. Daisy does fine with other dogs, though might need an adjustment period to get used to them and she would likely do best with another calm dog such as herself. This girl is truly, truly special and if her foster mom could adopt her, she would in a heartbeat! Daisy is fostered in Huntsville, Alabama but isn't picky about where she ends up. She is spayed, vaccinated, vetted, and up to date on flea and heartworm prevention.
