Jillian's Story...
Jillian is a friendly, active, sweet, happy one year old, 35-pound female American Eskimo or Spitz-mix looking for a loving home – preferably with another dog to play with. She loves other dogs as well as people including children. Jillian has already learned the commands sit, down, and is working on stay. She is crate-trained and house-broken. Jillian enjoys riding in the car and is a polite passenger; she just sits there and looks out the window calmly. She has proven to be a bit of an escape artist and can leap a fence to get to friends on the other side, so this is not a girl who should be left in a yard without her people. Jillian is healthy, spayed, up to date on vaccines, micro-chipped, heartwormed tested and de-wormed. To meet and possibly adopt Jillian, please fill out an application at http://www.puppylove-lovecats.org You can follow up and ask specific questions by contacting Linda at linda@puppylove-lovecats.org or 312-636-1200. Her adoption fee of $200 supports the rescued dogs and cats of Puppy Love / Love Cats Pet Rescue.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jillian, a Chicago American Eskimo Dog/Spitz (Unknown Type, Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Eskimo Dog/Spitz (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Chicago, or seeking a American Eskimo Dog/Spitz (Unknown Type, Medium) dog from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Eskimo Dog/Spitz (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with American Eskimo Dog/Spitz (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
