Anna - ADOPTED!'s Story...
Date of Birth: estimated April 18, 2008
Female- SPAYED
Short Haired Brown Tabby

Hi! My name is Anna. I came to Tigerlily Cat Rescue 2 months ago weighing only 3-1/2 lbs. I guess that's not good, since I'm over 1 year old. When my foster mom took me home, she knew she had her work cut out for her. I didn'ttell her I was pregnant, but she found out the next day, when I delivered 5 (stillborn) kittens. My foster mom said I almost died. (doesn't she know cat's have 9 lives?) I could barely walk or eat, but after several weeks of tender loving care, I put on 2 1/2 lbs. I love to run thru the house, play with toys, and romp with my foster mom's cats. I'm looking for a new home. Do you have a special place in your heart for me?

Love, Anna

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Anna - ADOPTED!, a Sterling Heights Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Sterling Heights, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Sterling Heights.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sterling Heights already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sterling Heights breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sterling Heights paves the way for another one to be saved.
