Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Tracker is an absolutely adorable, playful, outgoing and wiggly nine-month-old, 14-pound Chihuahua/Dachshund-mix looking for a loving home. Tracker is energetic but he also has a quiet side where he appreciates curling up on the couch with his people… this affectionate boy also gives kisses. Found as a stray in Indiana, Tracker is already housebroken and crate-trained. Tracker gets along great with other dogs, but he does need a patient and slow introduction; so he’s not a dog park kind of guy. Tracker would do best in an all adult home with someone willing to take him for training classes. He doesn’t know any formal commands yet, but he takes treats ever so gently from your fingers. He is very healthy, neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, micro-chipped, heartworm-free and on preventative, and treated for fleas and worms. To meet and possibly adopt Tracker, please fill in an adoption application at and you can follow-up to ask questions or meet him by contacting his foster mom foster mom Lara at or (630) 364-6387. His adoption donation of $225 benefits the rescued pets of Illinois Doberman Plus Rescue.
