Hello, my name is Angus and I am a handsome 2 year old AKC purebred male black lab and I am looking for a VERY special forever family. You see, I've been bullied quite a bit by my brothers and sisters as a puppy, so I am quite timid when you first meet me. In fact, I wouldn't let the lady from Valley Cats and Dogs pet me until she bribed me with treats:) However, don't let my shyness fool you, I am very attached to my human parents now, so if you are willing to give me time, training (and lots of cookies) I will grow to be your most loyal companion as well. My humans say I'm not aware of my own strength sometimes, so I would do best in a home with children 12 and over. Also, I should tell you that I am a GREAT watch dog, housebroken, gentle with cats, and would probably enjoy the company of another non-dominant dog though I don't require it.
