Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hot Shot is a wonderful, strong, handsome, energetic and sweet, one-year-old, 64-pound, black and white pit bull looking for a loving home. Picked up as a stray in Gary, Indiana, it’s obvious that poor Hot Shot was used as a bait dog for fighters. But, this big muscular sweetheart is a lover, not a fighter. He has no formal training in commands yet, but he takes treats gently from your fingers. And, when you walk him through a room full of dogs, he is not at all reactive. He is a confident, happy, tail waggingly-friendly boy who would do well with someone willing to put the time and energy into him to make him the model canine citizen. He would do fine with older children as well, and he plays well with some dogs at the kennel he’s being boarded at. Hot Shot is healthy, neutered, up-to-date on rabies, distemper, and bordatella vaccines, micro-chipped, and heartworm-tested. To meet and possibly adopt Hot Shot, please contact Sue at recsvcspecinc@sbcglobal.net or 815-268-4164. Hot Shot’s adoption fee of $150 benefits rescued dogs.
