Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Max Loopy is a handsome, extremely dog-friendly, 50-pound, two-year-old, male, brindle shepherd-mix looking for a loving guardian. Max knows the commands sit, shake, down and takes treats gently from your fingers. He is already perfectly housebroken, and crate-trained when his humans leave the house. He enjoys his crate time, loves to hang out and chew his Kong toy, and is typically a mellow housemate. Max would be happiest in a home with another dog. He’s not a high-energy guy, but occasionally enjoys a good run, or play session. His previous family said he never came upstairs in their home, and never got on the furniture. Max loves car rides, is good on leash, and while trained on an electric fence, he would occasionally grit his teeth and run right through. Max is protective of those he loves and best with experienced dog-loving adults and teens – as he gets a little agitated and nippy with energetic children. Max is healthy, neutered, heartworm-tested, micro-chipped, and up-to-date on rabies and distemper vaccines. To meet and possibly adopt Max Loopy, please contact Ray at colonelchisholm@sbcglobal.net or 847-639-6801 or 815-382-1169. His adoption fee of $200 benefits rescued pets. He is currently being kenneled in Ringwood, Illinois.
