My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Arrival story: Trixie would like for me to tell you her story: My name is Trixie and I have had a rough way to go in my short 8 months on this earth. I was found wandering the streets all by myself when I was only a small puppy at 8 weeks old. I was lost and could not find my way back home. A young man that knows my foster parents saved me. He gave me a place to sleep and took very good care of me. Until, one day he told me that he had to move.

He had to move and I was not allowed to come along because they don't allow pets in the rental house. I stayed behind with some other people, and they left me outside by myself. I was very lonely and got out of the yard and wandered away. A bad stranger had his Rottweiler attack me. I am ok, but I have some puncture wounds on my face. I am not the fighting type and I was afraid of that big dog. I would rather give kisses.

Good thing I had my dog tags on, because my foster mom and dad received a call from a good Samaritan who found me and made that big dog stop hurting me. My foster parents took me to the vet and he said I was in good health. The nice vet put me on antibiotics for my puncture wounds. My foster mom said that I would not have to worry, I would not ever have to go back and that she would find me a wonderful, safe and loving home.

I forgot to tell you that I am blind in my left eye. I can see very well out of my other eye, but my left eye has been damaged and it cannot be repaired. My foster mom and another nice lady took me to an eye specialist to make sure everything was ok. I may have been born this way or I might have had it injured, the eye specialist said. My foster mom told me that it did not matter that I was blind in my left eye because I am a sweet, beautiful girl. Please see my video below!

Please don't let all these horrible things worry you about me. I am a happy, healthy and loving puppy who just needs a boost up in life. I just love people and other doggies.

Approximate age / weight: Trixie is approximately 8 months old and weights 43 lbs. She most likely will be about 55 lbs as an adult. Trixie's foster parents had a DNA test done on Trixie to see what breeds she is mixed with. It recently came back that Trixie is 25% Boxer, 12% Shepherd, 12% Bull Terrier. Bull Terrier is NOT Pit Bull, and the other 50% was too much of a mix to pull a DNA. Trixie's main breed is Boxer. Trixie would like to invite you to watch her video below.

Personality: Trixie is super sweet and just a happy girl! She loves people and other doggies.

Trixie is blind in her left eye, but she can see just fine out of her right eye. She is a beautiful gray and brown brindle color.

Trixie is doing very well with her house training. (Way to go, Trixie!) Only a few accidents the first few days.

Trixie is absolutely a love! Her favorite thing to do is give kisses. She loves other doggies and loves to be with people. Trixie listens very well and loves to please. She plays like a puppy, but settles down nicely and enjoys her naps. Trixie does very well in the car and likes to go for bye-bye rides.

Forever home: Trixie is a young doggie and would need a family who is willing to give her lots of attention and guidance. It would be wonderful for Trixie to go to obedience school where we know she will excel because she is extremely smart and loves to please.

Contact: Trixie's foster mom can be contacted at romanpegleg@aol.com. I hope you enjoy Trixie's video!
