RILEY's Story...
Riley is a beautiful 1 year old Chesapeake Bay Retriever Mix. He is a wonderuful boy who attaches very quickly to people. He is affectionate and will roll over onto his back immeidately when he sees you. He is smart and a very quick learner. Riley weighs about 65 pounds but is stil in his adolescent stage so will probably put on another 15 pounds or so. This guy will win you over as soon as you meet him as he loves to give kisses and just wants to please his owners. Riley likes to give smiles as well which is very typical of Chesapeakes. Riley would do best in a home that is active and who is able to give him exercise. Please email lottoson@yahoo.com for more information.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

RILEY, a Pawling Chesapeake Bay Retriever/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chesapeake Bay Retriever/Labrador Retriever for sale in Pawling, or seeking a Chesapeake Bay Retriever/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Pawling.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Pawling already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Pawling breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chesapeake Bay Retriever/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Chesapeake Bay Retriever/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Pawling paves the way for another one to be saved.
