Boris von Lancaster's Story...
Boris von Lancaster is an extra tall 7 year old sable German Shepherd. He is from an area known for its breeders. Boris has a tattoo in his ear which can be traced most likely back to his breeder. Many of the tattooed dogs are German imports. Boris is definitely a country dog, he just wants to get out of Los Angeles, he tries to get in every car and truck he sees. The volunteers were walking him with a female German Shepherd, a lost small dog ran up to Boris. He was very good, the German Shepherd female was ready to pounce, but Boris is gentle and kind as one of the volunteers described him. Boris also is a talker; he will let you know what he thinks about things. He loves to play ball, we can tell he has been a big ball player is whole life. His teeth show it, but he manages just fine. We think Boris is also housebroken; he waits and waits to get out of the kennel. We can’t wait for regal Boris to be back in a home with his ball in his mouth enjoying life again.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Boris von Lancaster, a Los Angeles German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
