Buddha's Story...
Buddha is a handsome, bouncy, loyal and loving, 55-pound, two-year-old, male, soft-coated Wheaten Terrier looking for a loving home. This boy was purchased from a Louisiana breeder. He is very attentive to his people and bonds very closely and quickly to those he loves. He can also be protective. So when children were rough-housing around his family’s baby carrier, he snapped and, he was sent off to rescue. Buddha gets along with other dogs (not sure if he’s ever met a cat.) He would do well with someone who has the time to exercise him, and continue his training. He just loves to please! He is housebroken, and knows the commands sit and down. Buddha is very healthy, neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, heartworm-tested, and micro-chipped. To meet and possibly adopt him, please contact Gloria at fido@famousfidowholesale.com or 773-907-0305. His adoption fee of $250 benefits rescued pets.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buddha, a Chicago Wheaten Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Wheaten Terrier for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Wheaten Terrier dog from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Wheaten Terrier breeders who help with Wheaten Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
