This little 5-year-old sweetheart is one of several purebred Pomeranians rescued from a puppy mill. Honey is healthy, and several months in a foster home have done wonders to socialize her. However, she is still somewhat timid and shy, and will need a patient, loving owner.

Honey enjoys the company of other small dogs, and gets on well with cats. With humans she tends to be timid, and she needs her people to be calm and quiet. Loud noises and unpredictable behavior scare her, so she would not be suited to a home with very young or rowdy children.

As her confidence and trust grow, she is proving to be intelligent and trainable. She comes readily when called, walks well on a leash, and is learning the basic obedience commands.

This pretty little girl has a plush coat that begs to be stroked - and although Honey is scared to be held, she does enjoy to sit beside you for gentle petting.

Honey has not yet been spayed, but this will be done prior to adoption. She will also receive dental treatment at that time. Her adoption fee of $225 will help cover these costs.
