Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Frankie is an incredibly sweet and gentle 16-pound, eight-year-old, male, miniature schnauzer looking for a loving home. This boy was found as a stray and brought to Chicago Animal Care and Control. He has been living in a foster home where he gets along wonderfully with all the other dogs and cats. He is perfectly housebroken and just a joy to be around. He has a funny gait. Unfortunately the vet said the x-rays showed it to be an old injury. And, I know I don’t have the terminology quite right, but he said it was “a gap in his spine?” So, he is probably best in a home with dogs or kids that won’t pounce on him and probably best in a sedentary lifestyle so he doesn’t further injure his back and end up paralyzed. He does LOVE to go for walks and he loves to cuddle, be pampered and adored. He just melts into you when you pet him. He is a loyal and loving companion. Frankie is great on leash, and he rides beautifully in the car. He’s best in a home without a lot of stairs. If you’re looking for a mellow, loving and pleasant canine companion, please contact his foster mom Gloria at fido@famousfidowholesale.com or 773-907-0305. His adoption fee of $150 benefits the rescued dogs of Famous Fido Rescue & Adoption Alliance. Frankie is up-to-date on rabies and distemper vaccines, micro-chipped, and heartworm-tested.
