Here's what the humans have to say about me:
$50 SPECIAL HOLIDAY ADOPTION FEE...BRING ERICHO HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS AND GET A LOVING BEST FRIEND. DON'T DELAY, HER SPECIAL ADOPTION FEE WON'T LAST FOREVER! Ericho is a female dalmatian/hound mix who is about one year old and weighs about 50+ pounds(medium sized girl). Ericho was her original name so we have decided to keep it.She was brought to us because her former owner kept her tied outside sometimes without food or water. She is such a social dog that she was very unhappy and lonely on a chain. It is no life for any dog. If she got out of her collar, she would run loose and visit everyone for some attention. We were told she would be beat when this would happen and was treated poorly most of the time. People were concerned about her and asked the owner if he would relinquish her to rescue and he was happy to do so. She is a lovely dog-very sweet-great with kids and the other dogs(after her initial introduction to our resident rescues and pets-she was a bit skittish with them for the first five minutes or so). She is now playing happily, running in the yard and being free. She is loving it. I believe she may have had some basic training as she knows "sit" and walks fine on a leash. I think she would LOVE a home with children and/or other dogs. She may have demodex or hot spots which we have started attempting to treat-she has a couple of circular areas of hairloss-we will watch them and see if they begin to grow some hair. If not, we will have the vet check hose areas out with a skin scraping when she goes in for her spay. Ericho will be spayed and thoroughly vetted prior to going home. Please show this girl that people will give her back the same love and affection that she has to give. Someone will be very lucky to adopt this terrific, loving girl. Ericho's adoption fee is $175 to help us cover her vet expenses and care while with us.
