My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Arrival story: Sinatra is currently being fostered in a rural rescue, on the west side of the state, where he isn't getting any interest in being adopted. Being such a great dog they are reaching out to find a loving home for this deserving dog. We are posting Sinatra as a courtesy in hopes of finding him a forever family.

Approximate age / weight: 3 yrs old and 60lbs.

Personality: Sinatra, named for his beautiful blue eyes, is about 3 years old and is crate-trained, housebroken, gets along with cats and likes most dogs he meets. This sweetie loves men and is good with kids. He's really a nice dog and deserves a good home. He just needs someone to take a chance on him. Sinatra's bags are packed and he's move-in ready.

Forever home: Sinatra is good with kids and other animals so he would fit into many situations. We're sure he'd love an active family to play with in the backyard and take walks with.

Contact: Please contact Mary at caninecrazee@aol.com for more info on sweet Sinatra.

Pre-Adoption Application: To be considered for a dog, it is best to submit a pre-adoption application. The Pre-Adoption Application can be downloaded from our website - Waggin Tails Adoption Process . Just complete the application and email it back to wtdr2008@yahoo.com

Waggin' Tails Adoption Information: Waggin' Tails Dog Rescue has a standard adoption fee of $225 for adult dogs. Different adoption fees apply for older dogs, small breeds and puppies - $125 for senior dogs, $275 for small breed dogs and $250 for puppies, plus a $50 deposit which is returned upon proof of spay/neuter at six months of age. Our adoption process includes an application, vet reference checks, and a home visit.

We do not have a facility; all of our dogs are fostered in private homes. To view our dogs, please check www.waggintailsdogrescue.org for the dates of our next adoption events. To meet a dog in person, please see our event calendar for the latest information. Arrangements can be made to meet our rescue dogs outside of Saturday adoption events after an approved application is submitted (the application does not imply an obligation by the applicant or by the rescue group).

Please be kind to our volunteers who have made rescue a second job that they do in their spare time after coming home from full-time jobs. E-mail inquiries will be answered much more quickly than phone inquiries; our phone number is a voice mailbox only.

Thank you for your support of rescue and your interest in a rescue dog!
