My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dingo is a beautiful, timid and protective, 18-month-old, 40-pound, female, Shepherd-mix looking for a loving guardian. Dingo was found as a stray on the south side of Chicago and brought to Chicago Animal Control. Luckily she got of a shelter cage and into a foster home through Friends of CACC. Dingo has proven to be excellent with other playful dogs and loves the four-year-old Shepherd-mix in her foster home. She has a little too much energy to live with cats. She is well-behaved In the home, crate-trained and mostly housebroken. She is extremely athletic and food-motivated, so she may have agility potential. She already knows how to sit on command and takes treats gently from your fingers. She is very guarded with new people and in new situations, so she needs a home with dog-lovers who are experienced dog handlers to build her confidence. She would also do well with a confident dog whose lead she can follow. Dingo is very healthy, spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, micro-chipped, de-wormed and heartworm-tested. To meet and possibly adopt her, please contact her foster mom Virginia at virginny@tradertodd.com or 773-837-1122. Her adoption fee of $95 each benefits the Friends of Chicago Animal Care and Control.
