Howie - ADOPTED!'s Story...

Howie's Story:

Howie was found wandering the streets in January, starving, cold and hurt, but that certainly hasn't broken his spirit to love, snuggle and play! He was brought to a local veterinary hospital where x-ray's showed he had a fractured scapula, but the injury was too old to be repaired. He walks with a very slight limp as he is still healing, but that doesn't stop this boy from having a good 'ol time! He is approximately 1yr old and is full of energy! He know's 'sit' & 'lay down', and goes potty outside, but we're working on 'stay' and leash-walk etiquette. Although, he is still learning the basic's, Howie is an extremely gentle and sweet boy, and gets along very well with other dogs and even cats too! Why Adoption is a Great Option

Howie - ADOPTED!, a Sterling Heights Boxer/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Sterling Heights, or seeking a Boxer/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog from a breeder in Sterling Heights.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sterling Heights already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sterling Heights breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Boxer/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sterling Heights paves the way for another one to be saved.
