He came to an older couple when a family couldn't keep him @ 6 mo's old. He & CeCe bonded right away. CeCe washed & nurtured him when he was young. He is very gentle, sweet, attentive to what's going on & will jump in your lap right away & may be a bit shy @ 1st, but warms up quickly & will give several soft kisses of love & affection while in your lap. He & CeCe have little energy bursts after meals & will have a ball playing together & enjoying life. Rocky is very healthy--has always been well cared for---Just had a teeth cleaning--And with his Homemade Pumpkin Ball treats daily (easy & inexpensive)--he has Never had any bowel issues at all or anal gland problems. He doesn't do well w/sm children, as they come at him too fast & furious, & he needs a slower, Gentle Hand/touch and will do just fine w/anyone. He will let CeCe know He is King of the Ranch, but will turn around & let her wash his ears & face. He also likes to be close & in Your Lap much for a time, but will also go lay on his bed often, too. He loves to be scratched/petted on his chest & will fall asleep while you are doing it. He enjoys short walks, also, & does well with car rides. He may also jump in bed w/you, but will listen if you tell him to sleep in his bed on the floor. He's a little lover & wants so much to be loved & will return that w/kisses & loyalty. Has had a doggie door most of his life & has No accidents with one.

Other DOGS: He adjusts to them being around, but gets jealous of his human attention w/others
CATS: he is just Fine w/cats---seems to like them (possibly want to play w/them or be close to them)
Ideal Situation: A middle-aged or older couple who like Lap Dogs or a family with children 10 or up.
Rocky & his roommate CeCe were given up due to his dog-loving owners' death and must be adopted together.
