Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Cheli is a very handsome, sweet, fun and well-trained, five-year-old, 65-pound, male pit bull terrier-mix looking for a loving guardian. Cheli is friendly, cuddly, loves to play fetch, romp in the snow, go for car rides and long walks; he even enjoys going to the vet’s office! He is well-behaved and food-motivated which has helped in his training … he loves peanut butter, cheese and hot dogs. He knows the commands sit, down, paw, other paw and dance! He also takes treats very gently from your fingers. He’s great to snuggle with because he has a very soft fur coat, and he likes to gives kisses. Cheli is perfectly housebroken, non-destructive in the home, and crate-trained. He absolutely adores his people, has lived with cats, plays in a dog group, but is selective of his dog friends. He is looking for a person, couple or family who are home more often than not. He’s never really been around children, but respectful teenagers would probably be fine. He really hates to be home alone, so someone who worked from home, or close to home would be ideal. Cheli is extremely healthy, neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, micro-chipped, de-wormed, heartworm-tested and on monthly preventative. To meet and possibly adopt him, please contact Christie at bigoleblue@hotmail.com or 773-787-6464. His adoption fee of $100 benefits rescued pets.
