Pirate - ADOPTED!'s Story...
Estimated Date of Birth: May 20, 2012
Male Kitten- NEUTERED
Short Haired Black with White

Hi there! I’m Pirate, and I came to Tigerlily Cat Rescue after being found under a tractor. I was a bit of a scared boy then (wouldn’t you be?) – but I’ve gotten to be a sweet little guy once I know that I am safe and secure. I get along great with other kitties, and would probably do best in a home where I will have a kitty buddy. I would really love to find that forever home to call my own - maybe it could be with you?

Love, Pirate

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pirate - ADOPTED!, a Sterling Heights Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Sterling Heights, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Sterling Heights.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sterling Heights already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sterling Heights breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sterling Heights paves the way for another one to be saved.
