Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Calliope (the honourary Belle kitten). Rescued from a kill shelter just in the nic of time. A botfly had penetrated her neck and laid eggs, which turned into larvae and were threatening her very life. Another 24 hours and she would not have made it. Once all the larvae were removed Calliope was on the road to a speedy recovery. From skin and bones she is filling out nicely and is the first to arrive at the dinner dish. At times I think Calliope thinks she is a dog, she will follow at your heels anticipating that you might be going to put some yummy wet food out for her to eat. She is being fostered with the Belle kittens, Matisse, Cherie and Simone and together their antics will keep you in stitches. She is particularly fond of the tunnel and when you can't find her she is usually sleeping inside it. If you're interested in meeting this pretty miss and her foster siblings (because of her young age she needs to be adopted with another young kitten) fill out an adoption application.
