Somerton's Story...
Somerton is a vibrating bundle of energy and love like his buddy Gallagher. Somerton is extremely curious and not very cautious in his explorations. He's a leap before you look kind of fella - full of spirit. While Somerton enjoys his playtime with his buddy also he is content to entertain himself chasing balls around the room or interacting with his foster mom and the laser light or iPad Friskies Fish app. Do we have a little computer geek in the making? When fully charged Somerton will rough and tumble play with Gallagher using up some of that energy so evident in kittens. Tummy rubs and treats are a favourite occupational hazzard when within arms reach of his foster mom and will be repaid with outboard-motor purrs of pleasure. This very sweet little fellow will most likely turn into a loving lap cat once he slows down a bit. Somerton, like Gallagher his buddy, is a kitten and as such must be adopted in pairs or with another kitten similar in age for proper socialization. DOB May 14, 2012

About Our Rescue Group...
Abbey Cat Adoptions is a registered Canadian charity dedicated to finding permanent homes for unwanted cats and kittens throughout the Greater Toronto Area. Each year, ACA rescues cats from outdoor environments and overcrowded shelters.
Our cats live in a network of volunteer foster homes throughout the GTA until they are adopted into suitable, loving homes; we do not have a shelter. We are not government funded and we have no paid staff; we rely exclusively on the generosity of like-minded animal lovers to fund our program.
Our Adoption Process...
We want to make sure that our rescued cats and kittens go to good, loving homes so before we adopt, an adoption counselor will conduct a short pre-adoption interview to make sure that you and the cat are a good match.
