Walter's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Walter's Story...
Walter is a mellow, friendly and sweet, one-year-old, 15-pound, male, Scottie-mix looking for a loving guardian. Walter is living in a foster home where he has proved himself well-behaved with other dogs, cats and people of all ages. He is really tail wagging sweet and follows his foster mom around the house. He sleeps right beside her bed at night in a dog bed. Walter doesn’t know any formal commands yet, and he’s doing pretty really well with his housebreaking. He is very healthy, neutered, de-wormed, up-to-date on vaccines, micro-chipped and heartworm-tested. His adoption fee of $175 benefits Famous Fido’s Rescue Group. To meet and possibly adopt Walter, please contact his foster mom Lana at lananabread@gmail.com or 773-962-1046 or Gloria at fido@famousfidorescue.com or 773-907-0305. He is being fostered in Chicago’s Logan Square neighborhood.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Walter, a Chicago Scottie, Scottish Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Scottie, Scottish Terrier for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Scottie, Scottish Terrier dog from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Scottie, Scottish Terrier breeders who help with Scottie, Scottish Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
