Apple and Pai are a pair of friendly and happy, four-month-old, neglected, female blue fawn pit bull puppies looking for loving temporary or permanent guardians together or separately. These tiny girls were found two blocks apart on the south side of Chicago. Obviously they were thrown out of a home with poor husbandry and absolutely no conscience. You just look at these puppies and think “how could they?” The puppies are suffering from an absolutely horrible case of non-contagious demodex mange. Because of their poor nutrition as babies, their growth has been stunted and they will probably only grow to 40 pounds in weight as adults. But, what they lack in hair and size, they make up in good-natured puppy behavior. They play, wrestle, kiss, and love. They are worth caring for.
