Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Charlie is a loyal, sweet. affectionate and pudgy, ten-year-old, 19-pound, male, orange tabby looking for a loving guardian.

Charlie’s elderly human died and he was taken to Chicago Animal Care and Control. He has since been fostered in the home of a wonderful foster family. He had been loved and over-indulged by his former human to the point of obesity. Charlie still has his playful moments and enjoys batting a toy around and greeting all guests to his home. He is friendly and likes to snuggle on the couch. Charlie gets along with most cats, but dogs tend to frighten him (unless they are really gentle and low-key). Charlie is looking for a true cat-lover willing to help him with exercise and diet. He is on a special diet of duck cat food. When Charlie came into rescue he was a matted mess. He really doesn’t enjoy being brushed, but now that he’s shaved he feels clean and velvety. Charlie is healthy, neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, micro-chipped, and virus-tested. To meet and possibly adopt Charlie please contact his foster mom, Kim at kkovalick@yahoo.com or 773-852-0723. Charlie is being fostered in the Logan Square neighborhood of Chicago. His adoption fee of $95 benefits the rescued pets of Friends of Chicago Animal Care and Control.trol. He has since been fostered in the home of a wonderful foster family.
