Lucy and Ethel's Story...
Hi everyone we are two of the newest rescues to Willys Wabbits. We were also going to be sold at a meat market auction but were rescued by another rescue who was there to save horses. Lucky us!!!! They were nice enough to take us with them until we could be moved to our foster home. We are learning our litterbox habits and also learning how to trust humans again as are start in life was not the best. But we are now learning that not humans are cruel and we can finally relax. Lucy is the smaller of the two buns around 2 lbs and has some missing fur on her nose from being thrown together with lots of other buns. She is the more timid of the two buns. They are both very shy as they are both still in a bit of shock.

Wont you please consider opening your home to two little girls who need a family that will love them and show them how wonderful humans can be.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lucy and Ethel, a Hillside Dwarf Hotot was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dwarf Hotot for sale in Hillside, or seeking a Dwarf Hotot from a breeder in Hillside.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hillside already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hillside breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dwarf Hotot breeders who help with Dwarf Hotot rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hillside paves the way for another one to be saved.
