Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hell, my name is Sydney! My sister and I had to go to a shelter when my family moved. My sister was adopted so came into Midwest BREW and now I have a sister beagle in my foster home and I just love her. I am looking for a home with another dog that can be my best friend. I am a special big boy who is shy at first but I come around once I get to know you. I sure do love my foster mom and she sure loves me. I love all the attention she gives me. I am on a strict diet and am very food motivated. I was 70 lbs at the shelter but have trimmed down to about 50 lbs now. Since I love to eat sometimes I get too excited and don’t have good table manners around other dogs when I eat, but we are working on that. I also get very afraid when my foster mom leaves. We are working on that as well. I love walking and it isn’t only fun but it helps me to slim down as well. It is a new experience for me and I get a little excited and pull pretty hard on the leash, but I am learning to walk better with my foster mom. What I am trying to say is that I am a work in progress. But I am an amazing and loving beagle and if you ask my foster mom, she will tell you I am worth all the effort. Look at my face, everyone loves my sad eyes and wrinkles.
I am looking for a forever home where my owners are retired or at home most of the day so I don’t have to worry about them leaving all the time. I also am looking for a home where I can continue on my diet because I feel so much better and have more energy for playing and walking. I also would like to continue these neat walks. I also would do well in a home where I have a buddy dog. I also need a home that shows me patience and comforts and loves me. I am an exceptional boy as my foster mom would tell you. I am Sydney, the very special exceptional beagle—a magnificent work in progress. Ask Midwest BREW about me
