Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Arrival story: Teddy comes from a shelter where he was about to be sold to research.
Approximate age: 1 year and at 50lbs, is full grown.
Personality:Teddy such a loving and very sweet dog. He is very eager to please and loves to follow his human around the house and just be with them. He has a fair amount of energy but takes to training very readily. We are currently working on his crate training and he is progressing very nicely.
Forever home: Anywhere where he'll get lots of attention and excercise. He would be a great running companion, would do wonderful with children and loves to play with other dogs.
He is not the type of dog that would do well in a situation where he'd be left 8-10 hours a day by himself, although currently he is left that long during the day. It's just not the right fit for his personality. He thrives on being with people and loves having other dogs to play with.
While he is very active and playful, he does settle down nicely and does very well in the home. He is potty trained and not at all destructive. He is currently in a home with 4 other dogs and is not food or toy possessive. He's very social with the other dogs and submissive if challenged.
In summary, Teddy is an all around great dog - friendly with humans and dogs alike, highly trainable and adaptable. He just needs a chance at a forever home.
