Allie's Story...
Allie is a very beautiful, affectionate, sweet, and playful, nine-month-old, 42-pound, brindle-spotted, white female pit bull terrier-mix looking for a loving guardian. Allie is great with everyone she meets … people of all ages including kids, other dogs and cats! She is an energetic and fun pup who enjoys chewing on her bones, and playing fetch. She is housebroken and crate-trained. It’s sad to see, but sometimes she flinches when you raise your hand. She was found as a stray and dropped off at Chicago Animal Care and Control, so she may have faced abuse and neglect in her former life. Because she’s young and energetic, she’s looking for someone willing to give her the training and the daily exercise she needs to succeed. Allie is healthy, de-wormed, spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, micro-chipped, heartworm-tested and on monthly preventative. To meet and possibly foster/adopt Allie, please contact Chris at christine6206@aol.com or 630-699-1480. Her adoption fee of $200 benefits the rescued dogs of Famous Fido’s Rescue and Adoption Alliance.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Allie, a Chicago American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Chicago, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
